Anyone else here a fan of the music from the 80s??
Yeah, some groups were called the BIG HAIR BANDS then
But it seems most of the songs from the 80s I like are soft rock/pop...and romantic.
I like romantic stuff...I'm such a girlie girl, even tho my mouth doesn't quite speaketh it ~LoL~
I truly like Toto, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Loverboy, Heart, Mister Mister, Foreignor, Bryan Adams, Lionel Richie and so many others!
I do however also enjoy country, and hard rock- I am pretty versatile on the music level.
About the only type of music I can't grasp is rap

I used to have most of his albums.

In the 80's though, my music mostly consisted of Tangerine Dream, Art of Noise, Tomita, Jean Michel Jarre, Synergy, and mixes I taped off of top 40 radio that were heavy on the synthesizers.

Didn't get into them so much till the 1990's starting with Depeche Mode.

My brother and I saw the Gin Blossoms at a dive bar in Phoenix a year or so before they hit it big.
