President Obama thought that the cost of wind and solar would not decrease as rapidly as they have. He was wrong, as the cost of both have rapidly decreased, and now it is cheaper to install wind and solar, and both produce electricity for less cost than do coal or gas. That is why in Texas they are installing both at record rate. So renewables are saving money for the customers.
