Since we derive no taxes from Corporations, why not make a separation between corporate & state, stop taxing them (which the consumer pays anyway), and cut off all government benefits of any kind? 75% of the tax code would disappear along with IRS waste management. The true cost of a dozen eggs might be known. Throwing money at corporations only makes them more dependent on government and has cost us trillions.

I am a Democrat because I believe in the environment and conservation. For instance, we must raise the price of gasoline, like they do in Europe, to increase conservation. If we don't, there will soon be a big gas shortage, and this will mean higher gasoline prices for you and me.

And you are correct. I remember the Valdez clearly... This 'crisis' is abated...and you know as well as I that if such damage was incurred? We would have had a rewind 24/7...

Where is it? Why the excuses? Why the moratorium? Why the fear tactics by Obama? We see the result...High prices...people outta work...Obama on vacation during Winter storms in the warm arms of Hawaii...extended.

Seeing as the type of oil that was spilled, and the relatively warm waters of the Gulf made it easy for the microbes to do thier work...Mother Nature, (a.k.a. this planet) plays the part she has for billions of years despite our folly (ies)...
