And 30% of Republicans would vote for Bush again.

    Your point is?

53%? I'm surprised it's not below 50%. The Entitlement Generation is only going to grow. Freedom lovers have already started to move to Galt's Gulch.

The interesting part for me is how "outraged" the Obamabots get when people call him a socialist. In the eyes of many, that's supposed to be a compliment.

I doubt that 30% of the DEms and an even smller percentage of the Republicans even know what socialism is.

It's very clear to me that few people here understand much about political science, that's for damned sure.

Not surprising. The poor outnumber the wealthy in similar ratios.

i understand that when i wanted a quick and easy bump on my GPA in college, poli sci was damn near as reliable as art history, although art history had the added benefit of being able to drink beers in the back of the darkened lecture hall.

surely you are not saying that believing in social programs is the same thing as being a Socialist?

Are you a 'socialist' if you are glad the old folks that paid in to social security get what they paid for?

Are you a 'socialist' if you believe in paying for state schools or state hospitals or your police or your firemen or our highways?

    I guess, I don't get it???
