2020 News outlets need to be certified

Years ago, there was a group that scrutinized the media. We need to bring that back. If you publish a story, you better have the facts to back it up. Years back it was the "Journalistic ethics and standards". I look at all the crap the media says NOW, they would never gotten away with this shit 40 years ago. Police mistreatment of George Floyd...he died of a self induced fentanyl overdose, not a policeman's knee on his neck. And the list goes on and on, the media needs a watchdog to reign in their failure to report the facts, all the facts with no political spin.

Why the negative feedback? The popular media has lied and just completely mischaracterized stuff many times, they are not trustworthy. No. Lets change that. If any media group is worth their mettle, they won't have a problem being independently verified.

In 1983, an incident happened that forever changed my world view. A black man was brutally murdered by an unprovoked racist attack by a hate filled racist white man. That is what the media said, and they had all sorts of eyewitnesses...accept every one of their eyewitness where liars and that wasn't what happened. Nope. I was there and the media lied about it. The police next day put out arrest warrants for those same assholes the media interviewed for giving false testimony. And the media NEVER corrected that. Nope. The MSM lost all credibility about that time...

I used to feel that licensing journalists was not a good thing.

Now I know that with The Socialist Democrat Party in office it definitely would be a worse thing.

The voluntary subservience of today's media removed all doubt.

If you are part of the media, and resist having various independent sources verify your information, well you shouldn't be a journalist then. You could be a hack and work for TMZ, NBC or the big three. MacNeil Lehere report? Huntly Brinkley? Walter Cronkite? Roger Murrow? I know the media has been know for its scoundrels and cheap jack exploitism. The Chinese own more than 50% in most of the companies that run our media, and its a coincidence how their editorial policies have changed....To fit liberal anti white anti cop anti capitalist agenda anything to destroy American culture agenda. You could actually verity this and look into stock holder records and go back 30 years...but don't do that. The Chinese might not like that.

We don't have a constitutional amendment for how we can prepare food. We do have a thing called the First Amendment, however. Makes your entire rant a bunch of wasted words and time.

We certify say accountants or attorneys, Taxi drivers, why not journalist, why not so called "news' organizations? And fact checkers on the internet, well about that. Which ones? And who certifies THEM? And so the distrust goes.

The way to fix this is to ban corporate ownership of our media and not allow for the same people to own multiple stations, newspapers, etc, and no foreigner should ever be allowed to hold stock in one of our news outlets.
