    The one right off the top of my head is, Let It Rain by EC. There another Mick Taylor does on a Rolling Stones song....I just can't remember the song.

    In the song Hangman by Zepplin, there is a very nice electric banjo rift

    i always felt "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" by AC/DC had a great intro....

    You missed INTO THE VOID by Black Sabbath... Jesus, 38 years later and that riff is still so insanely heavy- its crazy.

    every dude (or gal) rocker I've ever known that wanted to learn to play guitar, invariably leared these riffs before any others: back in black, smoke on the water, and iron man. If they were cool, that is.
