Don't get cocky. Runoffs depend entirely on turnout. Dems will see this as a moral victory and will probably dump massive effort into getting out their base.

If they get more people to show up at the runoff, and we get less, even if the R vote combines, we lose.

Apparently Ms. Mary tossing herself and the LA dim party under the bus didn't have the desired outcome yesterday. I was sure her "we've been screwing you over for years so give us another chance to do it again" strategery was spot-on and sure to keep the black folk on her plantation.
