The first thing I saw when I turned on CNN this morning was a very dour group discussing how the 2014 mid-terms were going to serious hurt the GOP in 2016! And, wherever the actual results were so far off predictions, they moaned that the “Democrat base” had not turned out. But wait! They brightened up when discussing how the GOP leaders didn't have a plan and that would certainly help Hillary.

Bias anyone?

From Daily Kos comes Republicans retake Senate, rout Democrats at every level

And here's another thing I have seen in the reporting – a lack of discussions about the state legislature results. We see all about the governors but it's the legislatures that draw and redraw the voting districts. These changes will definitely affect the 2015 elections.

Can we discuss this without vitriol or gloating?

And on and on they go. The Media pundits just won't give up.

Here's one, from the liberal lefty UK Guardian:

The jubilant leader of the Republicans in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell, on Wednesday challenged Barack Obama to find common ground with Congress after the Democrats’ crushing defeat in the US midterm elections threatened to test the limits of the president’s power during his final two years in office.

In an ambitious speech hours after his party gained control of both houses of Congress, McConnell warned Obama not to “poison the well” by pushing forward with unilateral action on immigration reform, and promised to introduce legislation that would permit the long-delayed Keystone XL pipeline, bitterly opposed by environmentalists.

Obama, meanwhile, conceded that the electorate had sent the Democrats a message, inflicting a rout on the party that was far worse than expected.

Most of the media pukes changed this idiot's diapers and wiped his ass all the way into the White House, so they've got a vested interest in spinning this gigantic ass kicking they helped engineer.

It's no big deal as those of us with brains know fluffing when we see it while the low info saps need their daily doses. Thus the losers continued to march towards election day...and right over the cliff of reality. But, gosh, they made such a beautiful, bloody splat!
