Been here a good amount of time now and zero threads about the losses of freedom that people keep allowing to happen. Who gives a **** about all the bullshit that is discussed here compared to freedom?

My personal opinion is irrelevant. Government has zero business telling people how to live their lives. Most people in the R and D want to define people in 3 ways, who you ****, what kind of genitalia you have, and how much money you make. There is no gay rights or women's rights etc, there is only human rights.

There is lots of talk about freedom. Freedom to kill unborn baby's, freedom for free birth control, freedom for illegal aliens, freedom to practice every perversion you can think of and freedom for the government to spend the income of generations that won't be born for a hundred years. Lots of freedom here.

What's been demanded? I see threads about how we have to compromise on the budget and revenue side. Constant talk about about takers and moochers is just a distraction and propaganda to avoid the real issues and hard decisions.

Why don’t you cite some specific examples of ‘lost freedoms’ and those responsible.

Currently we enjoy greater freedom today than at any time in this Nation’s history, particularly for women and minorities.

We have more work to do, of course; although homosexuality is no longer criminalized, same-sex couples are still denied their 14th Amendment right to equal protection of the law in many states.

The issue isn’t so much ‘lost freedoms,’ but political factions who seek to take away those civil liberties we already have.
