Zalensky unhappy about peace.

Keep your hands out of my wallet to pay for Trump's graft, and we have a deal.
If DOGE sends out dividend checks, will you cash yours, or send it back to the Treasury?
The problem is, Ukraine gave up her nukes on the West's promise to protect her.
I know! You could send your dividend check to Zelensky!
I wouldn't know. I'm not a leftist...
Yes you the fuck are, retard.
...and I have no problem with wars that are just causes.
You're a warhawk. It's not our fight.
This is a just cause. Trump wants to sell out Ukraine for whatever reasons, but that's as craven as Chamberlain selling out Czechoslovakia for a few more months of peace.
It's really funny. Putin's an old school Soviet who wants to put the band back together, and you're pretending you don't support him. :auiqs.jpg:

It's amusing to watch someone who has spent his whole life sucking off the teet of the MIC suddenly act like a hippy.

Look, the only reason you Bleach-drinkers are willing to throw Ukraine to the wolves is because your Cheetoh Hitler is in Putin's pocket.

This is what a cult looks like, and it's not pretty.

what 'just cause'?

Well, to start with, the international principle that you don't invade other countries with the intent to conquer them. This is why we fought against the Serbs in the Balkans, it's why we liberated Kuwait from Iraq.

It's also the fact that Ukraine is a parliamentary democracy and Russia is a dictatorship.

This is a tad different from Iraq Joe, Iraq didn't secede from Kuwait ....~S~

That's a pretty stupid comment, even from you.

Russia provoked the breakup of the USSR when Yelstin stabbed Gorby in the back. You can't break something up and then complain about it later.

(Saddam actually DID make the argument that the Ottoman Empire at one time had Iraq and Kuwait as the same province, but that didn't fly, either.)

Russia signed agreements recognizing Ukraine's borders in 1991. And this wasn't even an issue until 2013, when the pro-Russian president was driven out of office by his own people.

When are you enlisting to fight for Zelensky?

Never? Oh, right -- you want other people to do it for you.

What a useless little man. Won't fight for Ukraine, won't kill Jews for Palestine.

No, Stupidest Poster on the Board, that has nothing to do with the break up of the USSR, which Russia agreed to. They also agreed to their current borders.

The attempted secession of the South was seen as illegal at the time and immediate action was taken.

The USSR broke up 33 years ago, and everyone involved agreed it was a good thing, until Putin came along.

There was no peace deal in 2022.

Yes, the United States should have stepped in with NATO, and stopped the war. Which, of course, would require an American military presence in Ukraine.

And Russia had their puppet Trump stop the United States, and show us all the coward he really is.

He is afraid of Putin.
Well, TRUMP! was not president in 2022, so there's that...

Other than that little detail, cool story bro. Needs more dragons though.

It will already be paid for by shutting down waste and corruption.

Bullshit.

Most of the budget really isn't touchable.

We spend 7 trillion a year.

5.6 Trillion of that is Social Security, Defense, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran's Benefits, and interest on the debt. Things that we really can't cut and frankly, there just isn't that much waste in.

The remaining 1.4 Trillion are things like roads, education, etc.

they are all still Russians Joe
their 'Russian empire' goes back centuries before Putin & Gorby

point? one can take the Russian out of Russia, but not the Russia out of the Russian

Are you fucking stupid? Ukrainians are not Russians. They have a different language, a different history, and different traditions.

They also have a long history of Russians doing awful things to them, like the Holomodor.

Read a fucking book, you ignorant prick.

You mean whre they admit that Ukrainians are not russians?
it's a fact check that needs fact checking Joe....they are genetically and historically and politically intertwined.....~S~

Okay, serious answer time.

Let's look at what each side would consider a just peace, and how we get there.

Ukraine wants

1) A return to the 2014 borders, including the return of Crimea.
2) NATO and EU Membership to deter further aggression
3) Economic development after the war.

Russia Wants

1) To keep all the land they've illegally seized so far.
2) Ukraine to not join NATO or the EU, and be a client state like Belarus is

What I would consider a fair peace.

1) Russia should get to keep the Crimea. It was only assigned to the Ukraine in the 1950's by Kruschev. It's population is predominately Russia.
2) Russia should return Kherson and Zaporizhzhia Oblasts,
3) Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts should be put under UN Administration for 10 years, at the end of which, there will be a supervised plebiscite on whether or not they should be allowed to join Russia or stay as part of Ukraine.
4) Ukraine can't join the NATO, but NATO troops to be stationed there as peacekeepers after the war.
5) Ukraine gets to join the EU.
6) An economic development package to be paid for by the EU to rebuild the country.
