This is the main manual of the public relations industry. Bernays is kind of the guru. He was an authentic Roosevelt/Kennedy liberal. He also engineered the public relations effort behind the U.S.-backed coup which overthrew the democratic government of Guatemala.
His major coup, the one that really propelled him into fame in the late 1920s, was getting women to smoke. Women didn't smoke in those days and he ran huge campaigns for Chesterfield. They have a long term plan to ensure guns are out of the hands of the masses, for when that happens, they can finally strip Americans of their assets and trash the dollar. When it happens, they want to make sure Americans are completely under their control and HAVE to accept the solution they have already come up with. If Americans had a say, they probably would have some other ideas. They want them to be as helpless, mindless, and as compliant as the Greeks, the Irish, the etc. . . . . . They want the entire western peoples, from Australia, to Europe, to Canada, AND THE U.S. to just roll over and accept what they have planned when it comes, and make no mistake, it's coming.

At one time, they all thought it was disgusting for women to smoke, Edward Bernays changed that.

Then they thought it was cool to smoke. Then, with the help of the media and the government, now everyone thinks it's stupid. The masses don't have their own opinions, they believe and think whatever Madison Avenue and the global police state tell them to think.

Right now, it is telling them that guns are bad and gun control is necessary, I agree with you, they will get this job done, just like they got it done on having the public accepting gender dysphoria as a healthy mental condition.

But in this period, the term propaganda just meant information or something like that. So he wrote a book called Propaganda around 1925, and it starts off by saying he is applying the lessons of the first World War. The propaganda system of the first World War and this commission that he was part of showed, he says, it is possible to "regiment the public mind every bit as much as an army regiments their bodies." These new techniques of regimentation of minds, he said, had to be used by the intelligent minorities in order to make sure that the slobs stay on the right course. We can do it now because we have these new techniques.
This is the main manual of the public relations industry. Bernays is kind of the guru. He was an authentic Roosevelt/Kennedy liberal. He also engineered the public relations effort behind the U.S.-backed coup which overthrew the democratic government of Guatemala.
His major coup, the one that really propelled him into fame in the late 1920s, was getting women to smoke. Women didn't smoke in those days and he ran huge campaigns for Chesterfield. You know all the techniques—models and movie stars with cigarettes coming out of their mouths and that kind of thing. He got enormous praise for that. So he became a leading figure of the industry, and his book was the real manual.

Compared to the freedoms that the government takes away from us daily, compared to the civil liberties and civil rights that are violated every month, compared to the monstrous leviathan that D.C. just passed calling a budget that enslaves future generations, a few dozen people dying monthly of gun violence is insignificant to guarantee our freedom.
