According to a report from the Daily Caller News Foundation, taxpayer-supported PBS partnered with taxpayer-supported WNET and the taxpayer-supported New York City Department of Education to present to a targeted audience of three-to-eight-year-olds a drag queen reading from her own book. A children’s show on PBS featured drag queen and author “Little Miss Hot Mess” singing, dancing and reading a book about drag queens to an intended audience of three to eight year olds.

In the interest of tax dollars and diversity, if a creative team similarly at npr or pbs wants to build a character like GI JOE who constantly trains as a soldier, salutes the flag, says the pledge of allegiance, prays, teaches the children firearms safety and demos use of firearms, there should be no resistance or blocking.

Religious schools have been under pressure for a long time to either completely reject government funding or be forced to follow government guidelines regarding speech. Same here. IOW, when the government funds even a portion of something, it demands compliance. Why do you think state run, secular schools are under pressure to stop promoting liberal speech and silencing conservative speech?
