Your rights aren't unlimited.

Says someone who has healthcare provided by the government.

Irrelevant. Doesn't change the fact the healthcare is not a right. Off the top of my head, I don't think any of our rights cost money. So, tell me, do you want universal healthcare? Free education too? How about universal basic income? If so, how are you going to pay for all that? Do you believe raising taxes on the wealthy will pay for all that?

Why is it that Germany and Japan, who we obliterated, have better healthcare than we do?

What makes you think they have better healthcare systems than we do? Maybe they take care of their own health as a society better than we do.

Yes, like the rest of the developed world.

Free education too?

That's an interesting argument. It may be needed in ten years to stave off massive revolution is AI and robotic automation really do slaughter 80% of jobs as predicted. WE shall see.

Taxation and reduction of other spending. Just like every other developed country in the world. Maybe less marble bathrooms and Gatsby parties in the White House.

Meaning no disrespect, but if you think you can tax the wealthy and cut spending and still get enough to pay for all that then you are not dealing with reality.

We can, just like every other developed country

Yeah sure, raising taxes and cutting spending enough to pay for free healthcare isn't going to happen in this country and I think you know that. I don't give a shit whatever other countries do. And healthcare is still not a right if somebody has to pay for it.

People like to point to "free" education in other countries, but two seconds of thought should be enough to realize that's bullshit.

We fully realize its not "free." We just want how it was when Boomers were able to get secondary tech education or university so cheap you could do it with a part time job.

I'm not sure you really want that.
