Your opinion please: Do Divining rods really work

I have never been involved in drilling water wells. Have you used Divining Rods or hired others to use theirs? Why is this believed if it does not work? Watch the video to see for yourself.

Some claim it's snake oil but I've seen it work too many times to not believe in it.

Not sure about finding water, but I know they can sometimes find a buried pipeline or cable.

The well on my ranch was located by witching, as were most of the other wells in the area. It seems to work, but there's also the possibility that if you drill deep enough in most places, you'll hit water.

yea it did work....a plumber did it right in front of me...i thought he was kidding when he pulled out and began doing it....he was right on top of it....

Not for wells. Sometimes they are 400, 500, 600 feet deep or more.

How deep was sparky 's well?
I think mine's not all that deep but in a good spot. 80-100 ft.
