So long as the radical left controls 3 or 4 major population centers in California, President Trump hasn't a chance to win California's electoral votes anyway. I don't know if their tax requirement for candidates will hold up under the constitution, but I imagine there will be some resistance in California itself. President Trump got almost 4 million votes in California in 2016 and I am guessing will do better in 2020 though I don't see how he could win with the electoral distribution what it is.

When they start pulling stunts like this in order to defeat the opposition, they admit they have absolutely have nothing to offer in the way of vision, policy, or ability to make things better that the people will believe in and vote for.
