You get a loan from the bank to buy or build a house after you pay off the loan does the bank still own your house ?

Nope. I own it at that point. Oddly Apple owns the IPhone even though they never paid back all the free research and grants they received. Without all those gifts, they would have never been able to produce their products. Apple didn't build that after all. It was Apple and the taxpayers.

Can you actually name a grant or the date apple got the money. I know the article said it did but we also know that people don't often tell the truth for various reasons.

It is true that networking started out as a project for computer scientist but it was business people who took that idea and sold it to the public. They are called ISPs and without the internet would only exist in government military agencies.

Technichally the government can manufacture every single thing we need to survive and in that scenario it would be true that 'u didn't build that, the government did' but what if you got something from that government and turned it into something else. For example, you got a beam of wood from a government production plant. You then took that beam of wood and turned it into a treehouse in your backyard. Can you actually say that the government created that birdhouse? Lets say you mass manufactured these items and sold them to the public. Could you say that everything the public owns was created by the government considering that at least one item in each person's possession wasn't created by the government?

Of course not, but technically, the government does, at least potentially. Even after you own something, the government can take it if you fail to pay the ever- increasing taxes.

The private sector has more respect for your ownership of property than the government ever will. Government will always have the means to take from you and every year, they create new ways to do that. Pelosi's comments might indicate their next plan to expand their powers over your assets.

Look, it's not that the government is responsible for the iPhone. there was a lot of original ideas and work that went into the device, but a good lot of what makes it work came from government programs and research.
