Ivermectin is not just for horses. Humans were using it even before Covid. If you look it up it'll tell you to consult a doctor before using it while pregnant. Also you should limit your alcohol intake while using it.
It's not uncommon for a medicine to work for humans and animals. The biology of different mammals is a lot more similar than many people realize. That's why we use mice for experimental science.
