I've got the old "I'm a 70 year old disabled lady" excuse and I feel really good about having found a local retired gym teacher who is right on it. When it just became too weird being a school teacher, he started taking advantage of being well known by everyone in town, and so he's now right there whenever one of us needs snow removal, yard work, roofing and painting and just about anything. He's very capable. He's also a member of my church, so that's a bonus too.

Outside of sending about 3 Christmas cards and buying a box of Omaha Steaks for my exwife ... I treat Christmas like any other day of the year. So, yes, I'm as ready as I'll ever be. LOL
