Put it this way, when Trump left office our GDP performance was 20th of 55 other nations and categories of nations such as the G7. Today we stand about 44th of 55. Hopefully he will get a break on Covid, but I haven't seen it yet. A lot of the inflation is a lot of profit taking to make up for the shortfall last year in a lot of 5 year business plans, but has the same spiraling effect has to be dealt with in some way. Not sure release of strategic oil will have the effect desired if it goes mostly to the international market at current price for what was put in there at bargain basement, kind of like turning on your tap to water all your neighbor's lawns to make yours green. All this very likely will improve as the pandemic is further behinds us, if we get it behind us. Everybody hiring, stock market doing great, logistics sucks, but the supply train will come around. And, Joe still needs to get something done about the border migration problem.

The snowball is the result of snippets of time and past legislation over generations. It was just a flake or two when it started. Ample time has been given to lessen the size of it. And they are using the insidious tax called inflation and rising prices to offset a percentage of that with the peasants being downsized. Since you are so smart, explain how and why the economy would have been stronger when it was the Democrats who are quicker and more stringent with the mandates and lockdowns on businesses and longer to lift those restrictions? The U/E was 14.7 in April 2020 because of the pandemic. 6 months later with Trump still in office, the U/E was 6.9. With Obama, it took Biden five years to get the U/E from 9.5 to under 6 percent.
