Worthy Charities in the giving time of the year

DAV is about supporting Veterans who have been injured mostly in motorcycle accidents.

Well, the DAV helped us a whole lot. Without the help of the local DAV Service Officer, my husband probably would have not gotten his disability claim processed so quickly and painlessly.

It seems that St. Jude does good things but the current funding is about donating 19 dollars out of your credit card every month until you die. I'm reluctant to make that kind of commitment. Does St. Jude promise they will never sell your personal information?

Nope.

T to T seems to be the all around best charity. I like St. Jude too but I am reluctant to authorize any charity to deduct $19 out of my checking account forever. I'd rather dump a couple of quarters in the Salvation Army pot.
