Zone1 Worry about God's judgement of you

Do you think the C.S. Lewis was one of the founding fathers helping to write our constitution?

Whoa, you need help, a lot of help. You are not a bad speller but that does not make you intelligent.

I am talking about "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

What I am is someone who sees the red underline and corrects the misspells.

The words "separation of church and state" do not appear in the U.S. Constitution, but the concept is enshrined in the very first freedom guaranteed by the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion." Known as the establishment clause, the opening lines of the First Amendment ...

You do not seem to understand the principles laid out in the Constitution. If you had to take a new citizen test, you would not pass.
or prohibiting the free exercise thereof... Ahem!

or prohibiting the free exercise thereof... Ahem!
Whatever you think, but what you think is not rooted in the principles put down by our founding fathers. They would have kicked your ass out of the 13 colonies.

Not what I think what the constitution says, the founders would have kicked me out for expressing my faith? :auiqs.jpg: do you realize how stupid that is

They would have no problem with you expressing your faith but they did not want you, anyone else and especially the government forcing your faith on others.
They came from a government that did.

Nobody does only the free exercise of our faith
The intention was no overt or subtle influence of what your religion should be by the government. I think posting the ten commandments in a public school does that. What does that say to Jews, Muslims, Hindus etc. Do we post their religous documents also? I say no to all. Private school, go for it.

They didn't want Governent involved in the Church

Yet you have no issue with prayer rooms for muslims

They did not want government to dictate one's faith.
Government is involved with organizations of religion. The government approves who they are and gives them tax breals.

Worrying about what's gonna happen after death? A waste of time and it's crazy to boot.

Worry about God's judgement of you and not God's judgement of others. We all have work to do on ourselves.
Too many focus on others so they don't have to focus on themselves.

There is a fine line between judgmentalism, assumed self-righteous superiority, and good advice for everybody.

It is not given to us to judge who is and who is not going to hell. God reserves judgment for himself.

But we are to speak out against wrong, against evil, against that which harms us and our fellow people on Earth. Jesus was the most adamant about that when he drove the money changers who were cheating the people from the Temple grounds.

And also when he warned us in Matthew 18:6-7 - 6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!"

The teaching continues with the clear implication that those with influence over children or others bear greater responsibility that they do not lead them astray. And he concluded that teaching with those who do not heed the warning and lead others, especially children, astray are in danger of hellfire.

I don't know what God thinks about the murder of millions of unwanted babies via abortion as that wasn't an issue at the time the Bible was written. But I would be very surprised if He approved. Sexual immorality/depravity, whether gay or straight, ua pretty strongly condemned in the Bible. I'm quite confident God hates vulgar tranny entertainment for young children or lewd displays in public parades and such where children can see them. Or in school curriculum.

At the same time God's grace, forgiveness, redemption is real for those who repent and accept it. (Repent means to change, to stop doing evil, to do our best to be better.)

I urge caution for all those who presume to be smarter, wiser than God, who presume moral superiority over others, who condone, promote, approve, support that which harms others, most especially children.

If you lived in a schoold district where the vast majority of studewnts were Muslim, would you want religous teachings of Islam ion all classroom walls? Those posting are the government building giving more attention to one religion over another. It is a slippery slope. Where do you stop?

I agree with your statement

We cannot say for sure how God will judge.
One can have strong beliefs but all beliefs should be humble.
Only God knows if our belief system is correct.
Mortal man is flawed. I do not feel anyone's interpretation of "God" is perfect.

I live by "humble belief"

Thank you. When we all get to Heaven I fully expect us to have a really good laugh at how much of all this we got wrong. But if we are made in God's image, he must have a sense of humor since he gave us one. And he allows us to be wrong without consequence. He just does not allow us to sin without consequence. We may never realize any personal consequence of our sin but others will. It is because sin harms us or others, even unto the fourth and fifth generations, that God is against it.

Let God decide that, not you.
He has already-Rev 16= Every kingdom( govt, armies, supporters) will be mislead to stand in opposition to Jesus. The results = Dan 2:44--Jesus will crush them off of Gods earth. And Rev 19 shows what will occur as well. They are standing in opposition now. Jesus was clear to his followers--Be no part of this world.
