They didn't want people to use the masks because the Medical people need them............But in Asia they ALL WEAR THEM..........because even if they aren't 95% effective they offer some protection to larger particles ......and it is better than nothing...............You can say microbes or whatever.......but even surgical masks stop a lot of viruses............Not all.

It would be better if people wore them here because should they sneeze and they are infected........it wouldnt allow the moist droplets to land on anything................Hell most infected don't even know they have coronavirus.

Doctors are saying for general population that is exercising social distancing should be more worried about where there hands are and direct contact.

GOP senator wants coronavirus hearings, probe over WHO role promoting China’s ‘misinformation’

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., said Tuesday that he wants Congress to investigate the World Health Organization over accusations that it helped China cover up the severity of its initial coronavirus outbreak and then failed to hold the country accountable as the pandemic spread across the globe.

Scott said that China has lied about the number of coronavirus cases within its borders, covered up information about the virus itself and failed to act when it first received information about the potential severity of the outbreak, handicapping the rest of the world in its response to the disease and worsening the pandemic overall.
