Our resident Drongo does not guess that Lord Trumpfy will save the day should matters not be completely resolved quickly .

Both Germany and Spain are bankrupt and the Los Angeles fires were doubtless specially created so that new land owners could cash in on a late revised World Cup location schedule .

I will stick my neck out here. The US team will not be invired to nect years state of the unnion.

The United States Men's team has a lot of work to do to ever win the World Cup or Olympics. They have had reported good teams that flamed out early in these tournaments. They have gone further in regional ones. The rest of the world that has played Men's soccer a lot longer are far ahead of us.

So now FIFA are holding emergency meetings about the future of the world cup after the attack on Iran. The Iranians have already qualifies for the finals but it is hard to see how they can compete on the US.
The whole thing is spiralling out of control.
Back in 1978 the finals were held in Argentina. It was dodgy and the worlds greatest player refused to play.
The finals were devalued because Johan Cruyff decided not to play. I can see the same thing happebing again.

Its a good job they handed over the meaningless Peace Prize or things might be in a richt mess.
