I can assure you I am not lacking in understanding the impact. We have $42M of materials shipping from India over the next 60 days with Trump talking all over the place about what the tariff is. We are passing 100% on to customers. Some manufacturers are eating some of the tariff temporarily because they have goods already produced but for the spring they are just cutting back production so they dont have to give any discounts. The supply chain is long so you'll be seeing costs and supply issues for a long time.

Do you think that companies are going to settle for less profit? If you do you dont understand business. They are cutting expenses (GDP producing expenses) and cutting labor and cutting production.

Tariffs are terrible for the economy. It's the worst tax creating the most societal loss.

Yes, of course in the past jobs were lost because of machines and technology....but at the same time other jobs were created. What I was saying to someone else earlier on this thread is that this time THE PEOPLE BEHIND AI themselves are saying that eventually there will be almost NO jobs for humans, because AI keeps getting better and better and it can do nearly everything. So that's very different than what happened in the past.

FTR, I'm not necessarily saying that I believe them 100%, maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong. I'm saying that those in the know, the founders of AI itself, have been warning people about this for years. Should we pay attention to them? Listen to their own words:
