Worker slaughter: Thousands getting laid off. #MAGA

I dont believe that for a second.
Because of ignorance or dishonesty?

Unions drive up the cost of labor.
That's all well and good when the companies are forced to use labor from the local market.
But, in the global labor market, where companies can use whatever labor pool they want, forcing labor costs up results in jobs moved out of the local labor market - that is, overseas.
Unions drive up the cost of labor, and thus, are at least partly responsible for jobs going overseas.

lol. Blame the consumer who has no ability to control prices. lol.

No ability? Huh? Is the consumer FORCED to buy a $5000 cell phone? Or can they choose to buy the $500 cell phone instead? If the consumer has a choice to buy an item at a price they prefer, then they absolutely have an ability to control prices. If an object's price is more than the consumer is willing to pay, the seller can either lower the price or go out of business.

And yet prices are currently high for most things. Millions have cut back on spending, but prices stay high. The top 10% continue to spend which apparently is enough for sellers to continue in business, while keeping prices high.

AI is resulting in worker layoffs, due to technological advances. Yet prices are unchanged even though labor costs are reduced.

Something is amiss.

the issue here isn't the greed of the CEOs and the shareholders, it's the greed of the US consumer. Would you rather pay MORE or LESS for an item?
Blaming the consumer after we've been carefully and slowly made dependent by design is absolutely hilarious but sad all at the same time. You thinking that the American people are so far removed by what has transpired in all of this, uhhhhh is on you, otherwise if you're willing to sit there acting the fool in front of those who know better then that's on you as well.

Yes something is definitely amiss for sure. I think it could be tied also to the 1.5 trillion dollar's the Democrats have the government shut down for, otherwise they're wanting to infuse this cash (if they win), into the system so that corporate globalist can retain their holds on the market places that has now become a desperate thing for them. Consumers be damned right ?

In order to break the cycle of corporate fascism operating in the market places in which these sympathizing posters are alluding too here, the Democrats shouldn't be allowed to win without a proper negotiation and honest debate that shows that they care more for the American people than the status quo or in the kick backs coming to their shell companies or insider trading comunica's.

So the entire bull chit lie that was sold to the American people back in the early 1980s has been revealed for what it all was about now. Give you people enough rope/time, and you will hang yourselves every time.

Someone needs to go back to the 1980s rhetoric being spewed by politicians who became salesmen for the globalist vision, and then apply it to the results of today. Talk about an eye opening thing for sure.

Like I said, people need to go the jail for treason, because that is what it was after we are witnessing the rhetoric and results now in 2025.

Lying to the American people by politicians for the purpose of a grand vision to become filthy rich by selling a boondoggle failure to the American worker/ consumer, and therefore violating every consumer and worker protection ever imagined in our constitution justifies many arrest for the act of treason.

Explain this meme.. Thanks
I believe it means in effect, as things are today, there is little difference between full blown fascism and democracy…democracy as it is practiced today.

What do you think it means?

If we lived in a just and law abiding nation, politicians committing crimes and treason would face prosecution. Sadly, this almost never happens in the Land of the Free. Politicians seem to able to get away with almost anything. They lie and violent the Constitution for the benefit of their donors and themselves, without consequences.

How does the US eliminate the global market for labor?
Apologize M14. I worded a post that said you people, but that was worded wrong. I know you aren't a Democrap. We can agree to disagree anytime friend.

Paramount, Amazon, UPS just laid off thousands of workers.
It’s not just federal jobs being lost. Trump has managed to preside over this horrible job situation.

What a bad economy we have:

That's nothing, bub. Just getting warmed up. Listen up bub and I'm only going to tell you this once! These numbskull politicians are out of touch and guessing at the solutions. Few can afford kids except the rich and illegals, bub. In the old days granny was around to look after kids...for free. Now it is thousands of $$ per month to look after each kid in some locales.

Many people can't afford kids or even afford rent. The rich are out of touch to the highest degree. They want everyone to have kids to keep the Ponzi scheme going. Yet the rich and filthy politicians squeeze people to death. It is akin to saying the USA will deindustrialize, send all our high paying jobs overseas...now go buy $750,000 houses and $60,000 cars on your barista salary.

Bub, look how much childcare costs per kid...

AI Overview

The average cost for childcare in New York City is high and varies, but it can be over $18,000 annually for infants and toddlers in family-based care, and potentially over $20,000 for a single child annually. This figure can exceed $4,000 a month for Montessori programs and at least $2,000 a month for daycare, according to 2023 data. Families often spend more than 25% of their income on childcare, which is more than triple the affordable standard set by the U.S. government.

AI Overview

The average monthly cost for childcare in Los Angeles ranges from approximately $1,000 to $2,000, but varies significantly by service and child's age. For instance, full-time infant care can cost between $1,300 and $1,500 per month, while after-school programs for older children typically cost less, around $150 to $500 per month.

AI Overview

In Chicago, the average monthly cost for childcare varies significantly by type but can range from $1,600 to $3,600 for full-time daycare and $4,000 to $6,400 for a full-time nanny. Other options include preschool at $400 to $1,300 per month and part-time after-school care or babysitting at around $1,000 to $3,400 per month.

And even if money is not an issue, the powerful have created an ugly world to live in and bring kids into. America used to be a dream life...but the dream has turned into a nightmare. Add testosterone depletion, trans and queer indoctrination, radical feminists, war on family, yada-proverbial-yada and it is a perfect storm for exterminating America. That's the score, bub.

Absolutely correct... 💯

What a bad economy we have:
The bad economy was started in January 20, 2009 and went on for 8 horrific years.
Then Trump gave us a short reprieve and stablized the economy the best he could.
Then Obozos reign of terror continued with the brainless shitbag Biden continuing the slaughter of our country.
Trump now, is doing what is necessary to straighten it all out, which isn't easy.

If you don't like it, nobody is keeping you here. Move to Afghanistan or Syria.

15th post
Paramount, Amazon, UPS just laid off thousands of workers.

Paramount is laying off because their leftwing wokeness has killed the entertainment industry.

Amazon is laying off because folks are tired of Bezos DEI company which does not support product warranties nor replace defective broken stuff arrived that way unless they incur return shipping.

And UPS is laying off from increased competition from Fed Ex, USPS, and Amazon now.

The entertainment industry, along with the music industry has its ups and downs. Always has, always will.

Bezo go to the point he don't care anymore, several years ago. Although I have never had a problem with their refund policies, I have friends who have had.

UPS hires lazy bastards, thats why they are going to the shitter. The ones around here have been seen by me, the apartment management, and other tennants, throwing stuff out of the truck onto the sidewalk and driving off. Piling stuff in bushes and driving off, and even dumping boxes in the trash bin by the mailbox station. Of COURSE they're going to go to shit.

Amazon has become a vendor of cheap Chinese shit. It's really impossible to get customer service.
And when you do you get more of an argument than service. I have pretty much stopped buying anything from Amazon and I'm now leaning towards Walmart and other online services.
Walmart's refund policy is fantastic and you get absolutely no hassle with it.

Wouldn't it be better to regulate union's, otherwise by government authority in order to keep balance in society ???

This government intervention would mediate any labor disputes between union labor demands and the company that is being protested in a union labor dispute.

Also the amount of labor allowed to be outsourced or brought in needs to be regulated by government in order to keep balance in the American labor markets.

If a company is allowed to just redirect to an outsourced entity without a justified need to do so, then it undermines not only the American laborer but it undermines national security over time. Look at how China has built itself into a formidable foe who has used our own citizen's and governments will to sell this country out.

We need an American government that has the nation's best interest at heart.
