^^^ If there are certain tasks that can't be done by a female on the job site for whatever reason, it shouldn't be held against her. To me, everything that is done on the property is a contribution to the job no matter the size of the activity. In my opinion, every bit of what happens should be appreciated because every worker on the scene could very well have decided to just be lazy like too many other people on this sick and cock-eyed planet.

The men on the site have a right to be annoyed if they’re breaking their backs and some chick is doing frou-frou nonsense work.

Not sure what important work one would do on site that doesn’t involve heavy labor. On most construction sites all the laborers are doing heavy physical work. There is no light duty.

They’d be just as justifiably annoyed if some frail guy took a job and was unable to keep up.

I know a woman (with husband and kids) who's dad was a stone mason and she did the same job her dad did up till she retired. One of her sons runs the business now.

She was not that pretty but "strong like Ox".

When I was doing masonry, I hired women to work; hell, I would hire anyone I could get.

Nobody is saying that it's a woman's fault if she can't lift heavy stuff. Rather, they are saying that if she can't lift heavy stuff on a construction site, that means she can't do the job. And in that case, she shouldn't be having that job.

No offense but you sound like one of those people who would handle out participation trophies to people just for participating, despite not having won anything.

Here people are talking about getting the job done. They are not talking about encouraging people and rewarding them for putting in effort. If you hired a crew to build your house for you, but they fail to do the job, and they tell you that they "contributed" to the job, would you want to pay them?
