Woman marries a dog?

Am I wrong to think of a man marrying a man or a woman marrying a woman and adopting children in that context when I see this? I mean you will say it could be animal abuse, but she doesnt abuse the dog she just "marries him in a ceremony and gives him love".

US marriage laws are for consenting adults. Not animals.

Marrying animals has been an extreme rightwing threat every time same sex marriage was brought up. It was always an ignorant idea.

She is a very wise woman. A dog will bring much more into her life than a man will. I used to tell people that I married my cat. He never cheated on me, hit me, complained about my cooking, or told me I look fat. Every day when I came home from work he would get on the back of my chair and give me neck happy paws.

Sleep studies have proved that women who sleep with a dog in bed sleep longer, deeper and have an extended REM sleep. This has developed in women since primitive times when women that sleep with dogs had greater survival than sleeping alone.
