That's a nice story, some animals are very sensitive when it comes to their owners. Anyway, whether the cat only wanted to play or if she really felt that something was wrong with the owner doesn't matter all that much, it's good she was there at the right time.

I've owned lots of cats and some dogs. Cats are the natural nurses of the animal kingdom. They like being caregivers.

They just cannot be trained to alert, they either do or they don't.
