Businesses and corporations are stupid to allow a minority of screechers dictate how they should address issues and political stance. They would be smart to just stay out of whatever it is altogether.

Ethics watchdog and activist shareholder the National Legal and Policy Center is slated to speak to the boards of several major U.S. corporations this week, pushing a flurry of resolutions the group has proposed in an effort to persuade the companies to stay out of politics.

This is an indicator of how corrupt and greedy any company is though.
Once any company has gone "political" in any form, they can't hide it or take it back.
Some companies profit by it by playing both sides, like Ford. But most suffer from it once that info goes public.

But as one of my teachers told us in class once, while talking about Capitalism in this country..........."The ONLY way you can change any companies mind is to hit their wallets". And they were correct. Stop buying their products and services and you stop their influx of cash. This is how the public forced change in the 60's and 70's in businesses all over the USA. Cut off their money supplies until they concede to public demand. And it works.

But people are too lazy today to bother with backing up what they bitch and whine about. So these companies keep on raking in the millions and billions of dollars people spend on their products and services. So nothing changes.
