WIRED Doxxed DOGE Engineers; Now They Are Being Hunted

A 25-Year-Old With Elon Musk Ties Has Direct Access to the Federal Payment System

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service is a sleepy part of the Treasury Department. It’s also where, sources say, a 25-year-old engineer tied to Elon Musk has admin privileges over the code that controls Social Security payments, tax returns, and more.
Bwahahaha, there is literally no information on this link.

“Three sources have told wired”. That’s the entire story. In other words total made up nonsense.

No, the OP made a deliberately false allegation. It was a lie.

A lie intended to trigger the Trump disciples here.

These people are on the Federal payroll. They are not secret agents.
If they are being prosecuted simply for voicing their opinions, with no real intent to do what they have posted?

Yeah, you are probably right. This is a violation of 1A.

OTH? If there is something else going on that has not been released to the public? meh.

Resistance to Musk's government team likely broke the law, US prosecutor says

February 3, 20258:10 PM EST

". . . Musk posted a thank you in response to Martin's message.

It is unclear whom prosecutors believe may have violated the law or what charges they could face. It is unusual for a prosecutor to discuss an active investigation before bringing charges in court.

The Trump administration removed two top security officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development, a top Musk target, after they tried to stop DOGE representatives from gaining access to secure parts of the building. The security personnel were confronted by members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Reuters reported.

The New York Times reported that a career Treasury Department official unsuccessfully resisted efforts by the DOGE team to gain access to the agency's payment system.

Musk, the world's richest person and the chief executive of Tesla (TSLA.O)
, opens new tab and SpaceX as well as owner of X, is leading an effort to dramatically cut the U.S. government. He has already offered sweeping buyouts to the federal workforce.

Martin, as interim U.S. attorney, oversaw the dismissal of all pending criminal cases tied to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol following a directive from Trump.

He has made several public statements supporting Trump and denigrating his political opponents, breaking with tradition for U.S. attorneys, who typically avoid any statement that could be perceived as political. . . ."

No the claim was they have access to all of our social security numbers and bank accounts.

Government agencies don’t have social security numbers. Citizens do.

Really? When did you assign yourself a Social Security number?

No the claim was they have access to all of our social security numbers and bank accounts.

Government agencies don’t have social security numbers. Citizens do.

Why do you make up things about what I said when I said no such thing?

No the claim was they have access to all of our social security numbers

Of course the government has access to our social security numbers. Who do you think issues them?

and bank accounts.

I didn't say they had access to our bank accounts. I said they had access to the financial system of used by the United States government.

0Government agencies don’t have social security numbers. Citizens do.

No kidding. But the government knows the social security numbers of the citizens.

Not all agencies do.

It’s dumb to use this term “the government”.

I’ve worked for “the government” for over 20 years. There is no such thing as one government computer system or database. Every agency is entirely separate from the rest. They have their own networks, databases, user base, policies, security systems, etc.

You are a misinformed idiot if you think getting access to one agency’s system will magically give you access to all government systems.

Do you still want to continue this idiotic notion?

Not all agencies do.

RE: Social Securityh numbers.

Correct.

The ones that cut checks do.

It’s dumb to use this term “the government”.

No, it's the correct term to describe when you are talking OPM and US Treasury and the accounts paid by the United States government.

I’ve worked for “the government” for over 20 years. There is no such thing as one government computer system or database.

Never said there was.

Every agency is entirely separate from the rest. They have their own networks, databases, user base, policies, security systems, etc.

Correct. However the United States Treasury is the main financial system for the United States government. Social security payments go through the Treasury, my military retirement goes through the Treasury, procurement goes through the Treasury, etc., etc.

We are talking about financial systems not department specific databases.

You are a misinformed idiot if you think getting access to one agency’s system will magically give you access to all government systems.

Here you go again. I never said that Musk had access to "all government systems". Why lie?

I said Musk has access to FINANCIAL SYSTEMS of the United States government. Check the news about his access to OPN and the United States Treasury systems.

Do you still want to continue this idiotic notion?

I don't need to continue anything pertaining to your "notion". It's classic strawman, claim and false argument and argue against that.

We could have a reasonable discussion if you would stop making up crap.

From Fox News:

"A Treasury Department official told members of Congress on Tuesday that a tech executive working with the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, will have "read-only access" to the government's payment system, stressing that it is committed to safeguarding the system after DOGE was granted access.

The official penned a letter in response to lawmakers who were concerned that DOGE's access to the government's payment system for the federal government could lead to security risks or missed payments for various programs, including Social Security and Medicare."

They come from the Social Security Administration.

They were auditing USAID.

Why would USAID have the database of all SSNs?

If they did, that would be a bigger scandal than a DOGE guy finding out about it.
While this is true, if Musk gets as much access to the Social Security administration, the Treasury, and/or the Department of Health and Human Services next?

Here is one of the people AOC calls an “idiot” working at DOGE. The Dems have doxxed him and want him dead:

Why is he looking at your SS number fuckup.

I said Musk has access to FINANCIAL SYSTEMS of the United States government. Check the news about his access to OPN and the United States Treasury systems.
Which allows them to track the bank accounts of their transactions. It isn’t a database of everyone’s SSN.

The OPM access was to notify all employees of the buyout plan.

Access can be given within a system while safeguarding information.

It’s pure fear mongering to suggest they have access to everything within a system.

Why would an auditor not be given access?

I’ve been through many audits in the government. It’s perfectly normal.

It is only abnormal for an agency to refuse to corporate in an audit. Which is what USAID did, which is why they decided to take a much closer look.

Again you lie about what I said, this seems to be a habit with you.

I never said they have access to EVERYTHING within a system. I very specifically said they had access to financial systems and provided news reporting from three different news agencies (including Fox News) show exactly what I said.

Well tell that to the other clowns like Zincwarrior that are claiming that.

I’m not the other poster.

So it would be appreciated if you respond to my posts with things I say vice responding to my posts with what others say.

Thank you.

Did anyone see the profanity-laden tantrum the Democrats were screaming about the cuts? One was Maxine Watters with her trash mouth, then another unidentified Congresswoman cursing up a storm, Schumer doing his Schumer hate stuff, etc., etc.

They sure are upset about cutting wasteful programs on transgender and gay stuff in foreign countries.

Yeah, they're really more upset about all the kickbacks and if they can be traced.

If that is all he does? Fine.

But those of us who know who he really is? meh

Let's just hope he does not exceed his mandate.
