Wine, Beer or Liquor

I've always heard that European beers were "great" Great, my ass. I've had German, Italian and French beers and they are piss. Belgian beers are the only ones worth my time. I'm currently in Ireland and I haven't found a beer over 4.5%. I'll take my 7% IPAs from the US micro breweries any day.
I’ve always found Heiniken to be hit or miss

WINE: Nothing beats my own blended variety of Cabernet Sauvignon. I have a formula blending three types of wine which makes a close approximation of a french chateau that usually runs thousands of $$$ a bottle. But a lot can be said for many white wines. I particular like a good Liebfraumilch.

BEER: A good German lager like Dinkel Auker Dark or a dark Irish stout like Beamish or Murphy's.

LIQUOR: Probably some at the top of the list might include Galliano, Kuhlua, Baily's Irish Cream and others. And of course, Whisky like Johnny Walker.

Usually some bourbon to get me "primed", line maybe a half-pint of Jack Daniels. And then some Heineken or Namyslóv to maintain the buzz. Sometimes I just drink wine though. Usually Pinot Grigio. Recently I reverted back to red wine a little after a long hiatus when I saw some of that Hungarian Egri Bikavér on sale.

I'm not sure what made my preference switch from red to white wine after many years.
