In fact, Walmart became a primary source of goods for much of the poor in this country, buying cheap from China, the Philippines, Vietnam, etc. The way to avoid that, of course, would have been for Americans to voluntarily spend thousands more on American made goods to sustain the lavish union contracts that were so foolishly agreed to. You do realize, don't you, that instead of complaining at management for getting work done cheaper overseas, you should have been protesting outside stores, telling customers to buy only more expensive American stuff.
