She can stay at Mar A Lago and he can visit regularly. People tend to forget that FLOTUS isn't an official position. It's just traditional. They tried everything to anger, insult, humiliate, and cause her to hate Trump and she handled every bit of that abuse with style and poise. His voters won't be swayed by her decision. For all of the nastiness that she had spewed at her, she got the last laugh by being the ultimate in class and dignity. She has nothing left to prove.

Just because Melania may not want to live in the WH again and serve as a tremendous WH hostess, doesn't mean they are getting divorced.
There is no rule that someone other than the President's Old Lady can't serve as First Lady.
