Will the United States ever again have a President as popular as Obama?

The failed casino operator who had a fixer to pay off bimbos with whom he rutted behind the backs of trophy wives and was such a sore loser that he incited his goons to attack outnumbered police defending democracy has a cult that may fantasize that he is still alive, like Elvis.
Maybe…but no….I don’t think so. What you’ll end up with is the same thing you have with right wing talk radio and for the same reason. You had Lush Rimjob…and when he passed away, you were left with a bunch of howling losers who have niches but not a critical mass.

Progress isn’t a straight line on a graph moving up to the right but once he is flushed into the cesspool of history…you end up with niches of pathetic wannabe. It’s an easy gig.

President Obama was elected in 2008 with 52.9% of the popular vote, and in 2012 with 50.5%, joining FDR, Eisenhower, and Reagan as the only POTUSs twice elected with over 50% of the popular vote. He completed his two terms with 60% approval.

He was succeeded by Trump who received 46.1% of the popular vote, 2.1% less than his opponent. He completed his one term with 34% approval, his lowest rating of four years of relentlessly negative assessments.

Biden won in 2020 with 51.3% of the popular vote, maintaining positive approval numbers for his first seven months in office, but then falling to his current 42.2%, with no surge in the offing.

Given the divisive, hyper-partisan nature of American politics today, and the refusal to accept the will of the People by a sizable faction of losers, do you think that the U.S. can ever again elect a President who commands the respect of most Americans?
Obama is a sideshow attraction with a forked tongue.

everybody loved Obozo
Not everybody. Despite his popularity that got him elected twice with over 50% of the popular vote, and his completing his two terms with 60% approval, some pissy people still snivel about him.

There are still malcontents that whine about the twice-popularly-elected POTUS. His completing his two terms with 60% approval, and Trump completing his one term with 34% is very upsetting for them, but that's the way it is.

Democrats are really hard up to be putting Obama on the campaign trail for a bunch of losing Democrats. His speaking in Atlanta reminded me of a cross between Dr. Huxtable and AOC. Obama is a Marxist who set race relations back 60 years. I still remember the monthly race riots during his Presidency. Glad he's gone.

There are current hyper-partisans who become enraged over Obama's documented popularity with the American electorate. It is that emotional response that leads me to expect that we won't have such a unified electorate in the foreseeable future. Election denial will now be the default, knee-jerk position for many losers.
I accepted Hillary losing to Trump.

What is of far more import for the nation, so did Clinton. The morning after the election she publicly stated,

"Last night, I congratulated Donald Trump and offered to work with him on
behalf of our country. I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans."

All defeated candidates - even those who were supported by millions more Americans - had accepted the certified election results from 1789 until 2020.

Trump had more votes than Obama. No one talks about Obama anymore, while EVERYONE still talks about Trump.

Being President ain't no goddam popularity contest.

Trump had more votes than Obama.
The U,S. population has been increasing for some time. Nevertheless, Obama in both 2008 and 2012 won more votes than Trump did in 2016:

Bush 2004: 62,040,610

Obama 2008: 69,498,516

Obama 2012: 65,915,795

Trump 2016: 62,984,828 (Clinton: 65,853,514)

Trump 2020: 74,216,154 (Biden: 81,268,924)

Upon his completion of his two terms:
Upon his completion of his one term:

Actually, under democratic self-governance, getting elected and commanding the support of the people is.

What being President ain't is a goddam Cry Baby Loser whining, without credible evidence, that unknown demons in some mysterious way stole his airy-fairy "Landslide!"

That of a man who spoke the truth the Lamestream Press won't. All because they are the propaganda arm of the Democrat party.
Oh c'mon, Pumpkin-head shoveled so much BS, I had to lift my pants legs every time I listened to him so I wouldn't get them dirty. I did love it when he went into his baby voice.

Sure.

The right wing hate machine will die down once Trump settles in for the dirt nap and his supporters forget that they want to murder people. When your ego is so closely tied to your position...you do and say stupid things. You see that here daily from the right wing nut jobs. Anyway, once he's gone, he'll be forgotten about and The GOP will pretend that they didn't go batshit crazy for nearly 10 years, some in the middle and on the left will believe them, and we'll have the situation we had back in the 2010's....
biden may drop dead any second....he has already been observed talking and shaking hands with ghosts
