Will the Electoral College screw up another election?

Yeah it has. It's nearly 250 years out of date, it is not fit for purpose. It's why it can seem as though American culture is still 18th century.
If you don't like it, fix. That's what the amendment process is for. Whining about won't change anything, nor should it.

Making the value of a voter's vote depend on the state is the best idea you've ever had?
I think that's what she is saying, yes, ie. the power of your vote needs to be dimished. Can't have citizens deciding who and how the government is operating. Shit! That would be a Democracy!!!

Gas was under $3 for most if not all of Trump’s term. Trump made us energy independent. Gas has been above $3 for all of Kamala/Biden’s term. FACT.
Did you run away?
Or do you have a retort?

What was the trump policy that:

1). Made the USA energy Independent?
2). Lowered gas prices in April 2020?

The EC has the effect of varying the power of one's vote for Potus, depending on one's state's population and representation.

An individual voter in the lowest population states has more influence in EC votes than does a voter in the highest population states.

Look, I am not politically savvy so varying the effect of a citizen's vote is alien to me. I lived in Rhodesia (and several other countries) during the last years of the "white rule" of the country. The chant in the streets leading up to the end of apartheid-similar life was "One Man, One Vote!" (regardless of race). One man, one vote. That makes sense to me, not some varying power from tribe to tribe or kraal to kraal. So, is this EC a good thing? I don't believe it is.

It's apparent that no one knows how this country was created as a federation of individual states, with a designated weak central government to resolve disputes and enable a common defense. It is not the Consolidated Populated Areas of America, and this push for centralized power makes local representation even more impossible. Your input to government will be eroded and blended in with people who have no concept of what is needed in your area, and no desire to address anything, and eliminates any semblance of accountability. As a maybe not unintended consequence, it is also much easier to attach it to a global entity. Be careful what you wish for.

The Electoral College is a dinosaur!

“It wasn’t like the Founders said, ‘Hey, what a great idea! This is the preferred way to select the chief executive, period,’” says Edwards. “They were tired, impatient, frustrated. They cobbled together this plan because they couldn’t agree on anything else.”

Lakookta got da Lektoral College Blues......
