The only reason I can imagine why Judge Contreras was recused – note: did not recuse himself – is that he was a member of the FISC, the court that grants surveillance warrants under FISA. As the evidence mounts that the warrant was improperly granted, someone – perhaps the chief judge of the district – removed him from further participation in the case, likely because Contreras approved the warrant and its extension. If the warrant was improperly issued, all the evidence it garnered is tainted.

Oh, hogwash. The charges against Flynn are shameful. Even liberal Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz has admitted that Mueller's case against Flynn is dishonorable and selective.

Flynn is a convicted felon that has pled guilty to his crimes, and in federal court requires an admission to your crimes (mea culpa), of which there is no appeal after the plea is accepted and ajudicated by the court.

That cannot be reversed under any scenario. He can be pardoned by the President which is his only option to have the felony removed.

But lets dispatch with the formalities.

For a man like Flynn to have entered into a guilty plea, means there was some damning evidence that would have led to prison time. Whatever he gave Mueller to stay out of prison, is what will end up putting Trump in prison.

The only key detail in this thread is what is going to put Trump in prison.
