‘He lost us’: Generals, senior officers say trust in Hegseth has evaporated

Stay on Topic.

Which is..... Hegseth is unqualified, a drunk, in way over his head, is a trump bootlicker, and has ZERO respect from the Generals.

You want something to do, find some quotes from within the last month, of Generals applauding Hegseth.
So you just make up stuff and post it as truth? Is that your game?

The article FWIW stated clearly "SOME Generals were blah blah blah" not ALL. And we know that SOME Generals are Trump Hating China lovers, like General Milley.

So you just make up stuff and post it as truth? Is that your game?
Are the videos and pictures of Hegseth fake?
The complaints from past FOX employees that were actually on set with him..... All FAKE?

OK, no convincing you.

SO these are your 2 posts in this thread.

So was there a denial of Hegseth being a drunk in there somewhere?

OK, you got me, I have personally never met Hegseth.
Neither have you.

Witnesses, many, no, I don't know them either, have come forward with pictures and testimony of Hegseth being drunk at FOX. But you got me, I haven't been on the set of Fox News either.

So, in your opinion, Hegseth is not a drunk nor have a drinking problem, even though Pete admitted it under oath in his confirmation.

Did I say that Hegseth didn't have a drinking problem in the past?
No. Of course not. Because I'm not a g.d. moron.
Do you realize it's possible for people to change, to give up things when called upon to do so?
I do. I've known people who've done it.
So to smear Hegseth as still having a drinking problem now when there is ZERO proof is really low.
But that's what I expect from leftists and Democrats: lies and smears.

You've 'supposedly' been on this site for 7 days, yet you have already labeled me as a 'leftist' and a 'democrat'

How did you reach those conclusions in 7 days?

If you've read my posts from years ago to present, you would have read that I think ALL politicians are SCUM.

Trump SHOULD be king. Put an end to democrats as an institution.
You shouldn't make offers like that — you'd be surprised how many people would take you up on it, and a lot of them would be Democrats.

Egos in the federal government — especially in Washington, D.C. — are a dime a dozen. They all have them.

The only difference between Trump and a lot of other politicians in D.C. is that Trump is open about things others try to hide. Honestly, I’m more inclined to trust someone who’s upfront.

But we don’t have dictators — and fortunately, Republicans have done a pretty good job of protecting the Constitution. As long as we continue to support the Constitution, that won’t change.

Actually, Trump doesn't want to be king. He has other things to do. Like a lot of us, he is sickened by what democrats have done and are doing. I am seriously astounded at the breath of corruption. I always knew it was there, but the scope is breathtaking.

Fine but that doesn't give you license to lie about Hegseth.

I post this to diffuse the denials that will come from the Trump supporters after they read this OP.

This is what I knew would happen, and it really should be happening in every department that is under the control of the executive branch, because the cabinet selected by Trump is wholly unqualified to be in the positions they are in.

‘He lost us’: Generals, senior officers say trust in Hegseth has evaporated

Secretary's critics worry Pentagon at risk of enduring damage amid firings, resignations and early retirements of high-ranking staff

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has lost the trust and respect of some top military commanders, with his public “grandstanding” widely seen as unprofessional and the personnel moves made by the former cable TV host leading to an unprecedented and dangerous exodus of talent from the Pentagon, said current senior military officers and current and former Defense Department officials.

Numerous high-ranking officers painted Mr. Hegseth’s Sept. 30 speech to hundreds of generals and admirals gathered at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia as a turning point in how his leadership style, attitude and overall competency are viewed in the upper echelons of the U.S. armed forces.

“It was a massive waste of time. … If he ever had us, he lost us,” one current Army general told The Washington Times.

Oh dear, leftoids are being shitcanned, and that's bothering other leftoids!!!!:hmpf:

So Political Generals from previous Dem administrations aren't happy with the current Republican President's SecDef.

I'm so old I remember when Obama fired all the generals who were not diehard democrats
