1. Those in the middle are wishy-washy that keep the problems existing and are never solved. They have no convictions. So, things just keep getting worse.
2. Those on the right will stop the craziness with the out of control spending, shrink the government, stop the woke madness, strengthen the military, put on notice to the world we are strong and don't mess with us and keep inflation in check.
3. Those on the left will burn and crash the republic with the constitution and reorganize in either a communist run country or a fascist run country. Which would you prefer, take your time.

The debt is OUR fault, the voters fault.
Politicians provide what voters want, to get their votes.
Voters want schools, military, infrastructure, social security, medicare, welfare, tax breaks - on and on, PLUS they want lower taxes.
The stupid politicians give the voters what they want and the country goes into debt.
Voters want their cake and eat it, too.

yes, of course we must always compromise with those who are wrong. It certainly is wrong to overspend by trillions, so if we compromise and only overspend by 3 trillion instead of 4 trillion, than we did right?
Sorry, this country was not built on compromise. It certainly was not built on debt, which is the subject. Compromise will only allow the Marxist Democrats to gain more power. Compromise with criminals, and you help criminals commit crimes.
Compromise on overspending, allowing overspending, is a compromise that gives a win to those who will overspend our country into ruin.
Defaulting on debt will hurt us. I hope so. We will have to cut government employees, we will have to cut payments to illegal aliens. We will have to cut 100's of billions of subsidies to the rich building solar and wind projects.
And hell, if we default, just think how hard it will be to overspend, that will really suck,

Agreed. However, there’s the inflation created by Democrats and Biden that make it necessary to use credit. Don’t know if you would agree but until the people return to following God’s commandments more we will continue to spiral down as a country. Letting 1/10th of 1% trans population run the politicians and major corporations is devastating. Wake up people. Stop voting for Democrats.
