He told Congress that if they came up with anything else he would advise them which he did.

Everyone knows what Comey did was against long standing DOJ protocol, which was you do not make an announcement like this within 60 days of an election. He was warned by the Justice department NOT to do this, and he did it anyway. And everyone knows that James Comey is getting steam rolled over basically opening a door and shouting more emails, then slamming the door shut 11 days prior to a National Election. He did it without a single shred of evidence, he didn't even have those emails in his possession. And we find out this is about Huma's emails not Hillary Clinton's emails the following day, that are probably more than likely duplicates of ones the FBI has already reviewed.

Comey was meeting with Loretta Lynch today, and I imagine it was to discuss his resignation. He may be prosecuted also, because it's clear he is in violation of the 1939 Hatch Act. Deliberately inteferring in an election in order to sway a National Election. He admits his intent in this email, when aids questioned him about his motive. "Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed. "I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record."

2. Those people who have been sitting on the fence, now see something she has been saying for a couple of decades and believe her now. That there is INDEED a vast Reich wing conspiracy against her. And that there is also a double standard. Women are treated differently than men, because Comey DID not notify the public that Trump was being investigated for his ties to Russia.
Trump and the Reich wing will continue to believe that Hillary is the worst "criminal" in history. But the vast majority, including Republicans don't believe that. And they aren't going to sacrifice this nations security, to install the most incompetent, unqualified, DANGEROUS, immature, emotionally unstable, vile, sexist MALE drama queen to ever seek elected office, over emails.

I understand you are angry and mad, and all of you die-hard Hillary supporters are lashing out over this. You've had a few days to digest this and glean sympathy from your little support groups with each other, and now you're ready to come out swinging again.
It's a very tight close race and it just got tighter and closer. I don't know if it's enough to swing the election to Trump... we'll see on November 8. The very real prospects of this woman being criminally indicted on some very serious crimes might indeed change minds and votes. If she is elected, this could turn into a constitutional crisis. When you have over 100 former Justices sign off on a letter blasting Comey--both Republican and Democrat there is much more to this--than you can poo-poo away.
Out of the thousands of emails that Comey looked at there were a total of 3 that had a small c on them, and the testimony he gave to congress at the time reflects a lot. Because c doesn't necessarily mean classified. A very good article on this from factcheck.

The letter slammed FBI Director James Comey and his decision to alert Congress and the media that there might possibly be some emails “pertinent” to his bureau’s interests on a laptop computer used by Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her estranged husband, former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner (D).
“Many of us have worked with Director Comey; all of us respect him. But his unprecedented decision to publicly comment on evidence in what may be an ongoing inquiry just eleven days before a presidential election leaves us both astonished and perplexed,” the letter said.
“We cannot recall a prior instance where a senior Justice Department official—Republican or Democrat — has, on the eve of a major election, issued a public statement where the mere disclosure of information may impact the election’s outcome, yet the official acknowledges the information to be examined may not be significant or new.”
Until Sunday, no one at the FBI had obtained a warrant to read the “new” emails, so, as many have pointed out, Comey had no idea whether or not his investigative team had already seen the emails during another part of the investigation or not, what their content is or even whether they were read or sent by Clinton herself.
The fact remains that the Director’s disclosure has invited considerable, uninformed public speculation about the significance of newly-discovered material just days before a national election.”

So we know that Comey was warned by the Justice Department to NOT send a letter to congress, he did it anyway. He broke long standing protocol of the Department. This is WARNING.

So in all of Clinton's emails that Comey has reviewed over the last YEAR. (He was looking for warning and intent) which he NEVER found. Now he has committed to warning & intent in one letter and one email of his own. Clearly and deliberately to sway a National Election.
This is an FBI agent that was so determined to bring down a Presidential Nominee, Hillary Clinton, that he would violate DOJ policy and the Hatch Act of 1939. Why? To make a name for himself. Frustrated that he never found anything of substance to bring her down with, he chooses this.
A very bad judgement call that will most certainly cost Comey his job, charges and prosecution.

I don't care what anyone says about what Comey did, I don't think he had any other choice. Keeping it a "secret" that the FBI was re-opening the investigation into Clinton's emails wouldn't have been appropriate either. The public has a right to know but Congress most certainly had a right to know.
Now all these so-called "experts" can weigh in all they like, they're not privy to the information Comey has and they don't have any idea of what has been uncovered. Comey may not even know at this point, in fact, he has said that he doesn't know if anything is significant to the case or not at this point. The fact that he had testified to Congress that he had closed the investigation can't be ignored here. If he hadn't informed them, they would have crucified him if he waited until after the election... that certainly would have looked like partisan political hackery. She had to destroy the emails because they showed her selling her office as Secretary of State...that is why she had the private server in the first place.....

Hillary had a chance to turn over all emails long ago. Instead, there is evidence they tried to destroy them after they were issued a subpoena. Her own actions created the problem and delayed the investigation. Why are we supposed to feel sorry for her now?

She is intervening into this because of Comey's actions Friday. She had a meeting with him yesterday, and it was probably to talk about his resignation.
He was warned, he ignored those warnings, he shows deliberate attempt to insert himself in the middle of a national election 11 days prior to that election, when protocol is you don't mention anything within 60 days of an election.

These are NOT Hillary Clinton's emails. They are her aids emails, and more than likely they're duplicates of ones they have already seen, as Huma testified to the FBI that she often forwarded emails to her server in order to print them out.

There was absolutely no rush on this because he didn't even have possession of these emails. He admits he hadn't seen them, and in fact as of Sunday night, 2 nights later he hadn't even filed a motion to obtain them.

The New York State Attorney General's office recently issued a cease & desist order on the Trump Foundation. They actually have in their POSSESSION 2 cancelled checks in the amount $258,000.00 in charitable donations that Trump used to settle non related legal claims and to purchase 2 full sized self portraits of himself. Full investigation ensuing. Trump's excuse when asked about this. He can't find the paperwork on it.
