Well, the problem is that these are 24 hour channels.

American cattle don't want to hear about the rest of the world. If they did, you could easily fill every 24 hours with real substance.

But Americans don't give a flying fig about anything beyond our borders. Nor can they handle anything which takes up more intellectual headspace than a bumper sticker.

And so when there is a plane crash, say, these anchors have to bloviate and speculate to fill all that air time as they run live footage of the burning wreckage for hours at a time.

"Maybe some Negro Muslim homosexual blew up the plane. Just sayin'."

"The pilot was probably a DEI hire."

"Was there anyone important on board? Maybe this was an assassination!"

And then the deliberately dumbed down viewers take that bullshit as gospel and run with it.

There was a time when the news was 30 minutes a day.

Conservatives say, I love my country, but liberals say I would love my country if only it were completely different from the way it is, so naturally conservatives support Israel because it was founded and continues to function on the same principles as the US, and liberals have turned against Israel because they only support other people who hate America. If you love America, you support Israel. It's just that simple.
