Over 700,000 acres currently burning in Nebraska, many fires in other states, in spite of the cold in many of them. Is this a preview of the summer? This fire map shows what is going on with the fires right now;

Was it arson or nature?

One of the joys of being retired is watching others at their jobs on YouTube. One of the channels I follow is Trucking with Schmidt out of Iowa. A few weeks ago his destination took him through the area. Here's some of the damaged area, just past the 8:00 mark....

Does it matter? Think, cold weather but with high winds. An energetic atmosphere creating conditions that have not existed in recorded history in those areas, and now when a fire starts, even in very cold weather, it cannot be controlled. And there seem to be a lot of them. Probably most started by downed power lines by the strong winds.

Trump said he would end the wild fires. But he fanned the flames & made them worse.

It's so dry everywhere that crops won't grow. Plus Trump made fertilizer so expensive that farmers can't afford to grow anything anyhow.

Even though Henry Hub shows Nat Gas is not at record highs yet, Spire Gas is charging us record prices. Last winter Nat Gas $3.65 Now $5.06

CO2 FRAUD is 100% to blame for the increase in fires...

And........, Zzzzz......

Ah yes, if it does not affect you it does not matter. An incredibly selfish attitude, especially from one that lives in a state affected severely by wildfires. But what else to expect from a denialist Trumpanzee.
Farm fields burned in this flat state. Did you know that around 90 percent of all fire fighters are volunteers?

No I have showed YOU many times that NASA shows a DECLINE in wildlife fires since 2001 which you ignored, Canada shows a decline, so does Australia all that you have ignored.

It is YOUR blind denials of these and other data you are constantly at war with is why you remain ignorant and insensible of the science behind them.

By the way I didn't dispute the big fires in Nebraska at all, LOL.

Another expert in half truths that are nothing but fancy lies. Yes, fewer individual fires but much more land burned;

Increase

The increase in area burned by wildfires in North America over the last 20 years has been significant. Here are some key points:

Again, a half truth that is a lie;

Increase

The area burned by wildfires in Australia has been increasing by about 48,000 hectares per year over the last three decades. This trend is consistent with the worsening fire weather conditions and is largely attributed to human-induced climate change. The annual area burned by fire across Australia’s forests has been on the rise, with three out of four extreme fire years since states started keeping records 90 years ago occurring since 2002. The fire season is also moving out of spring and summer into autumn and winter, indicating a shift in the timing of fire activity.

No, you did not dispute them, you just posted how you didn't give a damn about people losing their homes and lively hoods. And now we are seeing a major weather change, from wind chills in the minus degrees to 87 degrees Friday. But just normal weather, right? And the drought went from 9% of Nebraska in October to over 80% at present. Ah well, just sit back and enjoy the sight of those ranchers and farmers losing everything. A true Trumpanzee.

LOL, now you are trying to make me the bad guy, nice try but that isn't a valid talking point since your true intention in starting the thread is to flog a message that fires happens and we all should wail about it yet it was far worse 100-200 years ago when far more people were maimed and died in large fires.

From your post #13 is this lie since the official government data from Canada, Australia, USA, NASA all show a DECLINE since 2001.

I refuted this so many times already..........

By the way I didn't vote for Trump thus you can stop packing that shit....
