WiFi just means a wireless hotspot.
I believe Pandora is a service, isn't it? What we have here is a device that uses WiFi to play internet radio stations, including Pandora and services like it, including the streams (sometimes several each) from traditional stations that are on the air around the world, and including internet-only stations, which is a whole other sumptuous resource.

I haven't even barely skimmed the surface of all that's out there. To be sure there's a lot of crap, since there's a lot of crap on the air already, so it can take some delving. But the possibilities are virtually unlimited.

Pandora came with my new stereo amp. Haven't checked it out yet LOL.
Amazing what new amplifiers can do these days. There's even a USB port on the front.

I have two of the Bose units. One that stays home and a portable one.
Kind of pricey but they sound fantastic.
