It has not been confirmed. Giuliani released the e-mails shortly before the election. The e-mails were examined then. Even Fox examined them and found no evidence that Joe Biden was a part of it. Also the question is how did Giuliani get it? If he got them himself then he committed a crime. However we know that Russia was feeding Giuliani supposed dirt on Biden. If the Russians gave him the e-mails then they had Hunter Biden's e-mails. This strongly suggests the laptops were a Russian sting operation. The story is too ridiculous. Hunter Biden takes laptops to a obscure dealer and then leaves them there. The dealer cannot identify Hunter Biden.

The NYT, Washington Post, CNN, etc are all about narratives, not news. When facts contradict those narratives, they sweep them under the rug or don't report them. The way they did it too was incredibly weak, burying the truth about the laptop 20 paragraphs into a story about Hunter's taxes. Only thing worse in Journalism today is Putin's puppet Tucker Carlson, who also hates the truth. Both sides have their fact haters.
