Are there still Russians fighting? I didn't know there were any Russians left to fight. That's why they're using mercenary groups and North Koreans. As far as the monetary cost of the war, I read an article that due to the sanctions against Russia, the war was actually the biggest part of their economy now so if the war were to end and sanctions against Russia were still in place, that would be the end of their economy. Russia is only committed to peace as long as Ukraine surrenders.
