So now that the leftists on this board have confirmed, virtually unanimously, that they would vote for Jack the Ripper so long as he had that all-important (D) after his name, let's discuss why this is actual a real question deserving a serious answer.
1) Hillary Clinton is running, and believes herself the best candidate, simply because she believes she is somehow entitled to be President. Any American who understands anything about why the US has a representative government instead of a monarchy should be disturbed by an assumption of a "divine right to rule".
2) Barack Obama has been an abysmal President, and Hillary Clinton is inextricably linked with that. This is not only because she was his Secretary of State and embraced his foreign policies and made them worse, but because she has supported his policies on numerous occasions out of her own mouth.
3) She's unlikable, divisive and polarizing. Hell, even the Democrat base doesn't like her or rate her as trustworthy. Admittedly, Democrats don't consider trustworthiness to be of any particular value, but still . . .
4) She's scandal-ridden. You leftists can airily wave your hands and dismiss it all you like, but every single time Hillary has been in the political spotlight, she's been plagued with credible, plausible questions about her actions.
5) She intends to wave her gender in our faces like a matador with a red cape for the next decade. It isn't just conservatives and Republicans who are sick to death of identity politics, not by a long shot. And unlike blacks, women don't vote in overwhelming lockstep. Many of us are actually bright enough to be concerned about real issues, such as the economy, foreign policy, crime . . . none of which Hillary has anything positive to offer on.
And honestly, do we really want to be reminded of Hillary's vag every time she's on TV for the next ten years?
6) If you have a problem with Washington insiders, this woman is an insider to make even insiders look like newbies.
(Thank you to David Limbaugh for the basic points I expounded on.)
So this being said, I have to ask again: why would you vote for Hillary? An honest assessment of her as a candidate makes "She's not a Republican" sound even sillier than it does on its face.
