It encapsulates the left's all-out crusades against Trump to paint him as a Hitler figure, their attempts to incarcerate him, murder him, etc. What they did was miscalculate, badly. People don't care about character if the character doesn't impact the performance or the person's convictions. Character means nothing if people know that someone will do what they say, and say what they do.

It doesn't pay to impugn the voters or look down on them for supporting someone you don't like.

Bottom line, republicans controlled the message. Even though it was a great economy, the price of things are up, and most encumbents of Covid got voted out all over the world. It caused inflation all over the world. Least here. But does Joe get credit? Nope. You control the narrative
