You've got a problem.... First off the Canal has a problem with the super sized container ships transiting the Canal... they need a minimum depth of 44ft draft/ free board. then there's the problem with the width of some of these container ships...
Then there's the drought that has hit the Central America region loweing the lakes that use there water to raise and lower ships through the locks.
