Pleading not guilty isn’t obstruction. It’s part of our legal system to try and prove your innocence and make those arguments in court. If they lie in the course of their testimony they can be charged with perjuryYeah, but not really though. No murderers plead guilty in the interrogation room, and they NEVER get an obstruction charge for lying.
