Why should NON-CITIZENS be allowed to vote in US Elections?

And tax fraud is also a crime. Identity theft as well.
So is a business going to a HD parking lot, or other gathering spot for day laborers, and hiring some day laborers and paying them under the table. But you don't see ICE agents harassing and hauling contractors away from those parking lots do you?

There is a difference between illegal and criminal.

Thanks Clarence . The penalty for being here illegally is deportation. Even if you've avoided capture for decades.

If the election is in November with President and Congress on the ballot they can’t vote

If the school board has an election in june
They can

What about elections for city officials?

Being here illegally is .... illegal.
Doesn't mean they should be rounded up and put into Concentration Warehouses or concentration camps in the middle of an alligator infested swamp, before being deported to God knows where. They have the right to a hearing before a judge and/or the right to seek asylum.

They aren’t. MAGA is making a big deal over something that isn’t happening in any significant numbers. It’s all performative, while they have no problem with a convicted felon being president!
You know this how?

SOmetimes. Obama and BIden deported hundreds of thousands without seeing a judge.

They should be allowed to vote in local elections

If you are here legally and send your kids to school, you should be able to vote on the School Board

You'll start by saying they should be allowed in local elections.
Then down the road, you'll say they should be allowed in state elections, because come on, they've been voting for mayor, sheriff, and local measures.
Then further down the road, you'll say let them vote for president, because come on, they've been voting for mayors and governors, senators, etc, so what's the difference?

I know as a Dimocrat, you guys no longer have ANY respect for citizenship, you would take away our borders if you could. Voting in the United States is a sacred duty and privilege for citizens, and it's not open to the whims and pocketbook of the world.

This must be preserved!

Border crossers. Illegally crossing the border is a crime. I think it was millions were returned back across the border. These were not initiated by targeted searches against people who look Latino and Black across neighborhoods in American cities.

The ones hiding in your neighborhood are illegal border crossers.

I don't think too many people oppose deporting criminal aliens, documented, or undocumented, who are convicted of crimes. Not civil offenses. Being undocumented is a civil offense.
Not exactly.
It depends on how you entered or are present — it can be either civil or criminal depending on the specific circumstance.
If you are here undocumented, it is civil, the penalty is deportation.
If you came across the border illegally, like the millions Joe Biden let in, it is a criminal offense that could be punishable by up to 6 months in jail if they chose to pursue it. Under 8 U.S.C. § 1325.

Bottom line...people here illegally, which is all of the above should be deported.

What else do you see in there? Not every undocumented person is an illegal border crosser. How about overstaying a student visa, or a travel visa. Even working in the USA while on a travel visa. Those can all get you deported too. But you would still get a hearing in front of a judge.

If they are not US citizens why should they have a say in US policies?

They have zero argument for asylum. And yes, they should be locked up until their hearing.
