I've read the arguments about how much land and grain and earth resources it takes to grow one cow, and then taking into consideration the growing number of people in the world, and the numbers are just not on the meat eaters' side. But then we could only do that until the oxygen runs out because we've cut down all of the rainforests.

It's unlikely to happen within my lifetime because I'm already old and even if I live to be 100, I won't likely see it, and I'm not giving up bacon, ever!

More and more people are either giving up or reducing the amount of meat they eat in their diets. We're years away from the point now, but close enough that we can see it happening.

I've read the arguments about how much land and grain and earth resources it takes to grow one cow, and then taking into consideration the growing number of people in the world, and the numbers are just not on the meat eaters' side. We could cut down all of the rainforests around the world to grow the grain to produce the cattle and keep on eating meat. But then we could only do that until the oxygen runs out because we've cut down all of the rainforests.

It's unlikely to happen within my lifetime because I'm already old and even if I live to be 100, I won't likely see it, and I'm not giving up bacon, ever!
